Many people think that depression means that you’re sad or blue. While that can be part of it, it’s definitely not the ONLY part of it. Depression is a collection of several kinds of symptoms that affect you physically, cognitively AND emotionally. As psychologists, we know that depression is hard enough to deal with, stigma and misinformation make it all the more difficult. We created this image series to educate about depression, but to also help people learn how to support the ones they love. We hope it helps!
